Pure is impure meaning good con have (or be) evil such as kikyo, she does good, yet unintentionally she does bad (the soul thing she needs to live off of… remember?), then again she’s saying the same thing over again with impure is pure or evil is good such as Inuyasha.

I like Kikyo better than Kagome, she’s really badass! But I think Inuyasha && Kagome need to be together, Kikyo is much more mature than both of them, although she is very annoying in this episode!

but yes the saying is very annoying but i think it would be less annoying if i actually knew what Kikyo was trying to get at; “pure is impure, impure is pure…its just all too confusing. but her sayings all have a meaning we should learn what they mean and use them in our own life…hehe Koga, InuYasha, Sesshomaru are all sooo smexii!!! haha. I think why she says “pure is impure:impure is pure” is because she is saying that she isn’t good anymore. that she’s evil. like how she was talking about stealing the souls of the dead, to live. or she’s saying that she miss-judged the world. what she thought was bad is good.Like inuyasha. His’s a (HOT!) half-demon. but he’s not that bad. he doesn’t go around killing people.
the rrobot-dude gets on my nervres too.i can’t help you there.
But i think Kikyo should die. granted she was murdered, but still. that was supposed to happen. she should just die.

1. Kikyo’s little poem thing. SHUT UP!!!
2. The gay band of 7 guy. its scary, seriously -.-
3. the way kagome always goes, “Inuyahsa!” it annoys the hel outta me! i dont have anything against her, but that is reeeeeeally annoying!

6. the weird opening thingy before Grip!. The theme song is freakin sick, but that little opening thingy is annoying. we get it, “Its the start of InuYasha!”, God…

I don’t understand why everyone hates Kikyo so much. None of you have experienced what she’s gone through, so who are you to say that she’s a bad person? True, she isn’t supposed to be alive, but the woman that she was before was kind-hearted, and actually treated Inuyasha with respect. She loved him. Kagome is always yelling at him for something and telling him to sit. Kikyo was going to use those prayer beads, but changed her mind because she realized how underhanded and mean it would be.

If you listen, Kikyo’s words are very wise and true; but damn!!!! The way she says it, is so damn annoying!!!! I mean like shut up already, we heard you the first ten times!
but i understand what it means. Pure is impure - suikotsu(doctor) may be pure, but is really impure.
Impure is Pure - Kikyo be do impure deeds now, but is really pure.
Good is evil - some that good do may do evil in their life
Evil is good - evil people have a good side somewhere in their eart
to live is to die - you are ment to die one day when you are out on earth to live.
to die is to live - when you die you live in heaven or hell for eternity.

I think that this episode was awesome!
Except for the parts when that idiot machine kept saying gash or whatever, and when Kikyo kept on repeating that “pure is impure, impure is pure” crap. That is really starting to get annoying..
I don’t really hate Kikyo, I just dislike her for liking Inuyasha and keeping him distracted from Kagome. But if you think about it, Kikyo has had much sadness in her life. I also don’t think that she should be living still, she just wanders the land collecting souls from other people to stay there..
It’s not right for the walking dead to just roam around..

um people Kikyo only said her riddle thing like four or less times it’s no reason to get anoyed I personally like her riddles and Ginkotsu is saying ‘yes’ in his wierd way, so he’s just agreeing with his older brother….. whats so wrong with that? Personally I like it whan he says GESH!!! Oh and Jakotsu Is SO AWSOME!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!!!!HE IS MY FAVORITE OF THE BAND OF 7 (my second favorite is Ginkotsu)
Kikyo is a great person and she is so pretty, she has been through so much hardship and suffering and she still stands tall and acts brave! Despite this I think that she should try to find peace and go back to being dead its the only way she and Inu Yasha can ever be fully at peace with each other. Inu Yasha should learn to live with what happened 50 years ago and start anew with Kagome, and they both need to confess thier feeling for each other and Kagome needs to stop denying that she loves him by telling him to sit all the time

Like most of you i agree with you that deric is a complete pervert and that kikiyo should die. I know it sounds cold but accient or not she was killed and then resureccted for evil. Kikyo does die, in about sixteen episodes. Seventeen maybe. The “pure is impure, impure is pure” bit is a children’s song, it clears this up in a later episode. Also, if you listen, several times througout these episodes, you can hear children singing it in the background. Kagome does love InuYasha. If you watch the earlier episodes, you will see that. She even admits it once or twice. Genkotsu, the gesh gesh guy, is capable of speaking, also in a later episode. Kagome takes InuYasha’s side against Koga because InuYasha is usually the one who starts it. And if you watch the Japanese version of the show with subtitles, you would know all of that already because it really makes you pay attention. I have watched every single episode in Japanese. It really is better that way. Not so Americanized. When you Americanize it, you lose a lot. Kagome is not pronounced the way they pronounce it. And she doesn’t say “sit, boy” it’s just “sit.” And the voices in the Japanese version fits them much better. Sorry for going all “anime geek,” but there you have it.
