well i go with everyone else.
It was better that kikyo died cause she was already dead in the first place. Plus if she stayed alive she will just cause caios cause she made inuyasha always deppressed and she was going to kill him anyway to be with him. Kagome will problembly die inside if that ever happened. And kikyo is cold and sad all the time she will make inuyasha a little emo demon…its sad.

I hate to be a mood killer cuz I know some of you are still in mourning over Kikiyo. But she’s not dead. Remember, as long as Onigumo and Nuraku co-incide, he could never truly bring harm to Kikiyo. In the Manga series, they take it a step even further into this love triangle amongst InuYasha, KiKiyo, and Kagome. In the later issues, InuYasha and Kagome discover that Kikiyo is in a weakened state. Of course InuYasha rushes to her side. Kagome is the only one who can save Kikiyo but unlike before, she hesitates. Kagome’s heart starts to build with resentment and jealousy. After all, Kagome finds herself constantly competing for the Half Demon of her dreams (InuYasha). The sacred jewel shards in Kagome’s possession begin to turn black. Her only means of purifying the shards as well as her soul is to make a choice. Kagome can let Kikiyo die so she may aquire the affections of an unrequited love or she can save Kikiyo’s life (AGAIN)… So basicly, it’s Kikiyo’s happiness vs. her own. What would you choose to do?!

I’m a little sad Kikyo died, she made the series a little more interesting. Technically she didn’t die cuz she isn’t really alive. Who’s to say she won’t come back? As i am watching the whole series from episode 1 and started only a few days ago I can say that this episode was quite sad for inuyasha. I dont understand why poeple seem to hate kikiyo so much. after all kagome and kikiyo are apparently supposed to be different incarnations of the same soul. i imagine although this ended as it did we have not seen the last of kikiyo anyways.. I have tried hard not to skip ahead and am watching all the episodes 1 by 1. I must say though this was a very good part of the series, from the introduction of the band of 7 all the way though the last 20 - 25 episodes. Sseshomeru has turned out to be one of my favorite characters in this series, I wonder if he and inuyasha will ever bury the hatchet. also i wonder whats to become of ren in the end of all this., oh well.. anouther 40 or so to go …

I totally agree with Sapphire. All that time in that Cave Kagome didn’t give up on Kikyo and now she’s dead. How sad. How dreadfully sad. There is no positive outcome of Kikyo’s death because InuYasha will refuse to believe she is dead which will lead him to trying to find her leaving him more distracted from Kagome…how sad. The majority of you who are “KIKYO IZ DEAD I HADET TAHT BITCHHH” are seriously sick in the head.
Kagome is a nice girl with a strong will but thats all there is to her. Kikyo is what I like to call “a complex character” Seriously, grow up, you twelves.
I like Inuyasha and the characters are very endearing but you stupid fangirls ruin everything.
I like all of the characters but Kikyo’s presence was a particularly beautiful one. Do you think she wanted to be resurrected? No. Who would? Its nothing but pain. She’s bitter, yes but she loved Inuyasha first.
In her own way- she opened his heart. The bond they shared can never be outmatched by Kagome. Part of the reason he fell in love with her is because she reminded him so much of Kikyo. I’m sure they laughed and played around too. Its hard not to laugh when Inuyasha is around.

yes, there is a new season according to “hellosoushi1234″ (of yahoo answers) in the magazine “anime insider” (issue number 60, released in September 2008 ) it says that they will be making a new season of inuyasha in 2009 (japan) meaning we should get it in 2010 maybe (US/Canada) there was also a 30 min inuyasha short (or OVA) called “Black Tessaiga” that’s was shown at an exhibit called “Its A Rumic World” which was an exhibit to congratulate Rumiko Takahashi (creator of inuyasha) for her 30th anniversary of creating manga’s. the event was held from July 30th to August 11th of 2008 but as of now it the short is just in japan and there is no info on whether VIZ media will release it in English i understand that the return of the anime is a while away and if you don’t want to wait you could always read the manga (ill leave the links)……..i am a huge inuyasha fan and am thrilled that they will continue the anime =)

This was the saddest episode yet! I feel terrible that Kikyo died. For all those people who are happy about it, SHAME ON YOU! She didn’t ask to be brought back to life, did she!? She had no choice. And for all you people are happy she is dead, saying shes a clay pot bitch and other various names, you shouldn’t be happy just because your least favorite character died. I’m sure most people would be whaling if Sessomaru died. And I think Sessomaru is really mean. How could Inuyasha have know Naraku was going after Kikyo?! Do you see my point?

Kagome revives Kikyo again in the manga. But then she dies foreal after getting poisoned with some spider webs made by Naraku and before she dies, she gives Kagome her bow. Inuyasha carries Kikyo off somewhere private and they “have a moment”, then Kikyo disappears into little sparkles. Inuyasha seems to have closure at this point and in the end he and Kagome get married (the last chapter of the manga)

How can anybody hate Kikyo? She was bad in the beginning and then she turned to good. People get too invested in characters in television shows. It’s ridiculous. Lighten up. Kagome is annoying as heck sometimes, but I like all the characters. Kagome and Inuyasha are going to be together in the end? I doubt it. They come from different times. We shall see.
