I despise Inuyasha and Kikyo ubt this epi made me like the couple a lil more. Im even starting to wish that Naraku had never happened that way Inuyasha and Kikyo would always be together and Inuyasha would be human. But if that happened then that would mean no Inuyasha and Kagome which I would be really mad about cuz I love that couple more then I do Inuyasha and Kikyo but I have a better understanding of those two and so I like them more now.

Duh Destiny dnt you realize that if it would have happened that way the show probably wouldnt get past the first few episodes and there never would even be a kagome cuz kikyo wouldnt have died like that and part of her her soul would never have went into kagome meaning that kagome wouldnt be able to pass through the well at all?!?

so kagome has gone through basicaly the same pain as kikyo did. and besides, i hate to admit it but in the episode that naraku killed kikiyo, well i dont really think kikiyo is dead. its sort of hard to belive that she is dead. and kagome may hate kikiyo but thats only because of what inuyahsa and kikiyo used to have. ihate kikiyo just as much as the rest of you but only becuse she kept messing things up for kagome and inuyahsa. am i right? and virginia im totaly with u on that though. and let me just point out kouga and kagome were never ment to be. but look at it like this. after inuyahsa had vowed he loved kikiyo he still got jealuse of kouga and got mad when he tried to make a move on kagome right. so doesnt that proove that he really does love kagome?

this epi kinda makes you realize the pain that inuyasha shares a lot of the time because first he really loves kikyo but is betrayed and still loves her but then here comes kagome who he falls in love with-next kikyo is “alive” again so inuyasha probably feels torn apart between the two of them and if you were inuyasha it would be really hard when each one of them almost dies constantly while still being in love with each of them

Of course Koga and Kagome were never meant to be. Often main characters fall in love and end up together. Plus, Kagome loves InuYasha and she has for some time. Koga is mainly there for a little comedy, to show that InuYasha gets jealous easily when it comes to Kagome, and to also help save Kagome if InuYasha is tied up. There are a few more reasons, but I think these are the main ones.
Actually, it DOES HELP prove InuYasha loves Kagome. Getting jealous because of Koga, he forgot about the Kikyo situation. He always tries to protect Kagome, even if it means endangering himself. After Kikyo died, when Kagome was abducted, he expressed it in his thoughts by saying that he wouldn’t let something like that happen again. Also, he cried when he thought that her, Sango, and Miroku were dead. Of course anyone could be upset and cry when thinking three of their friends were dead, but he ran to her side first and held onto her. Jealousy is often a factor when it comes to loving someone. It means you care, even if it’s not the best feeling to harbor. And you can tell InuYasha REALLY cares by the way he gets jealous.
Kagome doesn’t hate Kikyo. She even said it herself a few episodes ago (when the child tried to bring out her darkness and make her a slave). She said that she may not have great feelings for Kikyo, but that only proved what she already thought (her being in love with InuYasha).
So many people dislike Kikyo because of her trying to kill Kagome and the fact that she definately wasn’t always the “good guy”. Some think that Kagome is nicer and more fitting. Since she’s the main character (basically), it’s easier to like her.
I never was a big Kikyo fan, but after watching these episodes I have more understanding. This episode made me a little sad. It also makes me wish he’d hurry and speed things up with Kagome, though.

For all you Kikyo haters out there consider this, Kikyo was Inuyasha’s first love. That is what this episode is about. Then Kikyo died and Inuyasha had a chance to move on and there was Kagome who, most would agree, is now the woman for him. But Kikyo didn’t stay all the way dead. So here she is screwing with everyone’s lives and she still dead. Now Inuyasha is stuck between his two loves and the only real reason he always seems to chose Kikyo is because she was his first love and in a way he feels resposible for her death.

I don’t get it.. there IS no conflict… Kikyo and Kagome are THE SAME SOUL. So of course Inuyasha loves both, since they’re the same person, just born in different bodies with different lives.
If Kikyo dies then Kagome just should get the rest of her soul back, right? Because Kikyo is only alive because the resurrected body held onto a piece of Kagome’s soul.

I have always loved Kikyo. Now its justy more passionate. Damn Naraku and for those who beleive in curses, damn Tsubaki. If it wasn’t for her and her curse, Naraku never would have been. Naraku is twisted, I’v heard the series doesn’t have a proper ending but comic readers say it’s still going on, so i might start reading the comic after i finish the series in a few days. After being betrayed, Inuyasha’s last thought was of how much he loved Kikyo, so for all those Kagome lovers out there, couldn’t you at least show some respect to the woman Inuyasha loved, out of respect for Inuyasha himself?

kagome i dont really agree with you because everytime kikyo comes inuyasha completly forgets about her and goes after kikyo i see that kagome is in pain whenever she see’s kikyo and inuyasha that look on her face just tells you that it feels that her heart is being wrenched in 2 you can also tell that kagome just wants inuyasha to be happy and tries not to show how much its hurting her when she sees inuyasha and kikyo together so when it come down to it i think kagome has been in more emotional pain then kagome but kikyo has had more physical pain.
i also feel so sorry for inuyasha when naraku kills kikyo now that i understand thier past i also see y inuyasha cant forget about her

well, in the end kikyo really dies and when naraku took the shikon jewel out from kohaku’s shoulder, her light saved his life. but she stills dies anyway. inuyasha gives kikyo a kiss and her spirts flies off. o, and kikyo gives her bow to kagome so she can go finish off naraku. even go read the manga scans online.

It’s surprising how much it seemed like Kikyo and Inuyasha’s time together was relatively short compared to what Inuyasha and Kagome have been through together, yet Inuyasha said how he felt for her without a hesitation (well, when she fell) yet still has not said anything to Kagome but clearly loves her. UGHH! I hate this!

hmmmm…. i was always with kikyo (with the underdog i guess….) I pity naraku and onigumo’s heart that has been affected by kikyo also. If kikyo would have been dead in the first place. Then their would be no such thing as kagome. If kikyo died now… no1 can stop naraku, kikyo is the only one who can stop him cause she was actually trained and kagome isnt “all” that good (still good but she still got some needed training to catch up with kikyo) Also kikyo does die for ur information

it was soooo sad and it was in chapter manga 465. Inu Yasha was really sad and their were to faces that they both made that has never been made by either of them be4. Inu Yasha who has been crying and his face was in the dark (no it has never happend in the series, not even with kagome). Also kikyo’s smile (since she is a miko and having fealings would make one weaker like love and so on so yeah.) If u read the manga, u find out that kikyo pretty muched helped every1 and she even helped Kagome big time believe it or not ( i mean giving Kagome a awesome strong bow even though it took away her spiritual power). Even though u dont think that was very important and you might think (so what?) she made a certain spot in the shikon no tama bright with hope which was kikyo’s will. So kikyo was a very important person. And recently, Inu Yasha jumps into a mediou Zangetsuha (which is remoured that it brings that certain thing that u struck straight into hell) so u know where this is going (just for you people who didnt know then: he probably went to hell and gets to see kikyo again 
) or gets sent to where Kagome is (which is what Inu Yasha is wishing.

Hope u all dont hate kikyo that much… and please dont wail on me just because i’m showing all of you people another way of see’ing kikyo. But i think people should appreciate her more.

ugh, i still hate kikyo, what sucks about ehr and inu? well there are a few things, one, kikyo is 2 years older then inuyasha, yes thats trure (Rumiko said in the Inuyasha handbook thing, two, they werent realy in love, they were just good friends that were alot alike, if they were really in love, they wouldnt have thought that the otehr would betray them! their trust in each other was like 0! they were jsut friends who had never been in love, so they had no idea what love was! gah! and come on inu, YOU SHOULDNT MARRY AT AGE 15! wow what a tragic story i feel so bad for kikyo and inuyasha even though kikyo bugs me for ruining things between kagome and inuyahsa, but u cant blame here cus kikyo and inuyahsa went through so much and also kagome and kikyo are one in the same (just born with different experiences and time zones) its just that kikyo has grown cold, but thats why they both love inuyasha and he loves both of them.

i almost cried. naraku takes cruel to a new level. naraku must now die forever for what he did to them. its really sad. in the end, although kikyo tried to convince herself she hated him, she still loved inuyasha. and even though inuyasha thought he was about to die, he admitted he loved kikyo. even though she was the one who supposedly killed him. now that is love. don’t get me wrong, i still think kagome is the one for inuyasha. she has a more similar peersonality. if inuyasha was with kikyo i think he might get bored sometimes, she’s always so calm and cool. but sometimes when i see how heartbroken kagome is when she sees them together i really am aching to scream at inuyasha, FORGET ABOUT KIKYO FOR A MINUTE! This episode is so DEPRESSING!!!!! Things would have been perfect for them but Naraku had to be greedy. If Kikyo’s powers hadn’t been weakend by the love of inuyasha she would have discovered that Naraku’s aura and Inuyasha’s aura are completely different. This episode is nothing but a whole episode of “if onlys”. SOOOOO SAD!!!!!
And yet… Kikyo didn’t even kill him. She could have but she chose not to. To this day, I still do not know why.

Wow.
I used to hate Kikyo so much, but as the series went on, I started to like her. Shes gone through so much pain and suffering and I can’t hate her, it so sad.
And she used the sealing arrow so she didn’t have to kill Inuyasha shows how much she still loved him even though she thought he betrayed her.
I almost wish that Kikyo wasn’t killed in the first place, but then there wouldn’t be a show to begin with. :\

This episode makes me sad. Kikyo and Inuyasha made such a good couple. She certainly treated him with more respect than Kagome does. She didn’t even use the subjugation beads that she was creating because she decided to trust him, but with Kagome, it’s always “SIT!” Inuyasha might go after the dead clay Kikyo, but only because she looks and sounds just like the Kikyo that he really loved all those years ago. Even after they “betrayed” each other, their last thoughts were both of how much they loved one another.
Kagome looked like a tomato as a baby.

I cried watching this, pity kikyo and inuyasha I cant forgive Naraku for ruining such a truthful and beautiful love and killing them.I wish hundred times if Naraku hasnt done such thing.
Why do many people hate Kikyo? she’s only a poor woman who thought she got betrayed, lost her love, died tragically but still loved Inuyasha. And when she came to life, inuyasha is with another girl. I can totally understand Kikyo!! and kikyo just cant forget inuyasha and move on, that’s why. U just think of her as a interuption, but have u ever thought WHY she keeps on butting in?? she must have reasons, beside she’s only a nice poor woman after all.

sorry to say this but.. kikyo hasnt gone thru that much more… i mean kikyos been thru a lot but kagome has to watch the 1 she loves love some1 else… i think that hurts more.. ive had it happen both ways to me but it hurt more to watch… just sayin…
and i cant really get why inuyasha can tell kikyo he loves her after a little bit of time but cant tell kagome after so long…. he must really feel betrayed… but i hope he stops being such a scardy cat and be a little like miroku(not the perverted part) and tell the girl he loves that he loves her… this show makes me so mad sometimes… >:!

Poor Kikyo. She never truly got to live. I understand her. If She kept protecting the jewel the way she was then that would be her life up until the point where she passed on. A life alone. Who would want such a life? Besides, After kikyo learned of what happened she didn’t try to be with Inuyasha. She knew her time with him was over. Her only goal was to let naraku gather all the shards then once he did she would purify it and that would eliminate his power and kill him. She really was a good character. She gave the show the story it had. Without her Kagome would have never existed. If you don’t like Kikyo then simply do not watch the episode. If you are watching the episode even knowingly of what it’s about then you secretly hold good feelings toward her. And if you have to state everywhere that you dislike her then you’re obviously just trying to convince yourself.

Poor Kikyo, this episode makes you really understand her. Don’t watch it if you don’t like Kikyo, thats childish and immature just to come here and watch just so you can bash [although I dont doubt that those who are doing that are either kids and act like them] Some of you children also don’t realize that the characters of Inuyasha were altered slightly to fit, the manga is the real version and it shows the characters are their true personalities and its show real side of Inuyasha, Kikyo, etc.
I’m not going to bash anyone. However, I know some of you are kids so you think like kids, young minded and immaturely but Inuyasha loved Kikyo before he loved Kagome. The time he loved Kikyo, Kagome wasn’t born yet so whoever said he loved Kikyo because she was so much like Kagome isn’t making any sense since kikyo existed way before Kagome [if it weren’t for Kikyo dying, Kagome wouldn’t exist]. If anything, it was the other way around [which I don’t think thats it either but if anything at all, it was that]. In fact Kagome reminded him alot of Kikyo, later he ended up loving Kagome for her but at first, Im talking about. Of course Kagome loved Inuyasha, she has Kikyo’s soul thus developing her feelings, powers, etc. Different personalities and attitudes but same soul.

Its like that in every show, theres a bitch of the show and a angel. In this case the bitch is Kikyo.
But I really hate it when fags like some of you, say, Kikyo and InuYasha shouldnt be together or InuYasha never loved kikyo. Like its pretty obvious that he loved Kikyo in the beginning until that hoe Kagome came along.
I dont dislike Kagome though. She has issues and all, as does Kikyo.
But get one thing straight you fags out there.

I like this episode, mostly because it shows that Kikyou and Inuyasha had a great bond. Back then, Kikyou was bad-ass, but later she became just clay and bones held together by spirits…all hollow…and kind of depressing actually. And now we finally know what really happened and how things unfolded.

OMG! I love this episode! I feel so bad for Kikyo. I wish her and Inuyasha had a life together, and then with Kagome… WHY DID RUMIKO (Creator) MAKE IT SO HARD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN CHARACTERS!? :’(

i think people need to be easier on kikio i had love hate feelings towards her till these last two episodes she was a girl just like kagome and if the characters had been switched and kagome was the dead pristess and kikio alive then we would all hate kagome…see if naraku and onigumo were never even in the story kagome never would have been and inuyasha and kikio would prob have a few kids by now… personaly i have a new found respect for kikio plus kikio is a lot nicer to inuyasha but since im bius and all inuyasha does need to get over the fact that kikio is dead and needs to finally admit that he loves kagome i think that it would help him move on a lot when he admits to kagome that he loves her

OK, well…I havn’t really liked Kikyo a lot. And I think Kagome is better for Inuyasha. But I like kikyo some, I mean…she was Inuyasha’s first love, and Inuyasha has the right to keep loving her back. But I still think since Kikyo is dead, she should just let Kagome be with Inuyasha. After all, kagome thinks more of him…I think…I dunno! But Kagome would let Kikyo and Inuyasha be together if they wanted, where Kikyo wouldn’t let Kagome be with Inuyasha. So Kagome really cared about Inuyasha, so dose Kikyo…I’m just saying that Kagome does a better job. “I” think so.
But Inuyasha cares about protecting both of them. Though he protects kagome more through-out the episodes…cuz Kikyo is dead. But he never stopped careing about her. But i think Kagome is best for Inuyasha, cuz with Kikyo…Inuyasha just falls into her and they are both just in love with each other…no action at all, and it’s boring.where with Kagome…it’s always kinda funny…and interesting. I love when she says “sit!” to him, it’s funny when she says it a lot. “Sit! Sit! Sit!” Lol

Well, the two episodes show more about InuxKik and it was quite interesting, but I still don’t like that they put in yet another kiss between them. I mean Kagome and Inu Yasha don’t kiss even once in the whole manga series but Kikyo gets to make out with Inu Yasha twice in the anime already. That’s so unfair to Kagome xD (Well, she did kiss him in the second movie but that doesn’t count. Not very romantic in my opinion when she only did it to save him from Kaguya…)

this episode made me sad. it truly made me urn for kikyo. although i am pro inu kag, i still do enjoy watching inu kik. theres no denying that they’re cute together.
i truly do feel bad. if naraku wasn’t such of an asshole this whole thing wouldn’t happen, i guess.
but at the same time if naraku wasn’t such of an asshole then inuyasha would have never met kagome.
it seems bitter sweet in my eyes.
this was truly a tragic love story. all of you saying, “oh, i hate Kikyo” are just falling into the anime’s plan for you to dislike her.
but if you look at the statistics, she’s not bad.
sure, she tried to pull inuyasha into the fiery depths of hell, but she had a good reason. she was resentful and wanted vengeance to be hers.
after all, she believed he betrayed her.
you guys can’t say you wouldn’t be pissed off and feel resentful to the girl he loves now…

P.S THE ENDING WAS GREAT. With the whole, kagome part when it showed how she go into the feudal era and stuff. This was a blast from the past. It made you feel like you were there on their journey. it was nice to witness.
OH, and to you guys thinking the last two episodes are wastes, you didn’t have to watch them… IT WAS AN INUYASHA SPECIAL. something that didn’t add or take away from the storyline you stupid ingrates.
