If you read the Manga you’ll realize that Kikyo gets killed by Naraku in the end and Kagome returns to her time for three years before returning to the Fuedal Era to be with Inuyasha. Kagome ends up marrying him so enough with the Kikyo/Kagome debate already.

will everybody stop fighting over who better with inuyasha. yes its true kikyo was his first love but it didn’t work out and now she is dead the person we see is just a spirt.also kagome is a recarnation of kikyo and she is alive and inuyasha loves them both because they are practiculy the same person.if u see the final episode inuyasha cries his eyes out when she die’s and then moves on to kagome and they get married so it all works out.
