Fairy devil shut up!! You don’t understand nothing, Naraku tricked kikyo into killing the one she loves which is, Inuyasha!! Dummy!! The Kikyo that walks the earth now is a different Kikyo that walked the earth 50 years ago. The Kikyo now doesn’t possess the soul she had. Therefore, she doesn’t care about the people she used to now do her old memories have the same feelings they used to. Just look at the way she treats Kaede. Personally, I think OLD Kikyo and Inuyasha make the better couple. Their love was less fights and yelling and more of being together and truly loving each other.

In my own opinion, i don’t think it’s that easy for Inuyasha to forget about Kikyo, hence the reason that he still loves her. She was his first love, then Kagome came around, and he grown on to her. Once you really look at both sides of it, you can’t actually blame Inuyasha for still loving Kikyo. Kikyo was his first love, and he has grown up to Kagome.

The show Inu Yasha would have never came to reality and if they want Kikyo completely gone.. tell me… would Rumiko get kikyo back to the world of living? Kagome is just like a replacement for kikyo with Inu Yasha. Kikyo wants to remain strong to vanquish naraku so she cant be with Inu Yasha. Also, kagome IS kikyo’s re-incarnated form. So its still kikyo so either way. Kikyo wins . Sorry to shatter all of your dreams but its true… and also its just a show… so yeah….

Cresent, you are right yes…but thats the thing about Inuyasha and Kagome is they fight….this is showing love is difficult, and sometimes one person is caught in the past relationship of someone, but this also show that the past is the past….you cant fix it….and what was the past will change to be the present….which will eventually become the future (which changes the presant in someway too)….Because the past is the past inuyasha beats himslef up (so to speak) about how he couldn’t fix it….Meaning what will be will be…………..This ia complaicated but it all come down to that…What will be will be

I think i get why Inuyasha is still hung up over Kikyo. See, we all know that inuyasha was strapped to a tree for fifty years right? he went under the spell still in love with her so all that harbored love and betrayal he felt continued on even when he awoke.
even IF it was fifty years to everyone else around him, it was still just THAT DAY to him. (by that day i mean the day kikyo shot him with the arrow) Inuyasha, as we all know has a very loyal heart and beneath his rude exterior, he is sensitive and soft.
kikyo doing all this stuff only hurts him more than angers him because he’s in love with her still. Kagome, he cares for her and is falling in love with her, but like kagome said, she will NEVER replace kikyo, who is his first love and the first one that pretty much tore his heart out.
Personally, i prefer Kagome/Inuyasha,because Kagome is continuously hurt over inuyasha protecting kikyo, but Inuyasha is hung up over her, and dead or not, he doesn’t want to see someone HE loved to be hurt and i think he has a very strong will, heart and he is still clinging onto kikyo. So much that he is angry at what she’s doing, but deep down is forgiving her almost immediately. His love for her is clearly stronger than anything she does.
Kikyo, she is dead and he should try to forget but at the same time you know he can’t. not as long as he knows their love only didn’t last BECAUSE they were both tricked into betraying one another. How would you feel if it happened to you? Would YOU simply “get over” it? Like i said, I prefer Kagome over Kikyo because i think Kikyo is rather annoying. But I’m just putting it from inuyasha’s eyes.

Well,i too prefer kagome and inuyasha couple (and i see a lot of comments with HATE kikyo,i don’t like her either)but see it in this point of view…if there was an anime like this one but the main characters were inuyasha and kikyo it would be one heck of a love story,the reason i know for sure that inuyasha will end up falling 4 kagome is cause kikyo is wrong about her all idea of killing inuyasha and be happy in the after life…well and the whole thing with not trusting each other:before kikyo and inuyasha met he was after the jewel and neither the priestess knew that a demon could possible be a shape-shifter so if i were in her place i will think that he was trying 2 kill me…(very complicated…)

I think Inuyasha and Kagome belong together and plus Kikyo is dead, the her that walks around is just a clay image of her sustained by hate and malice, thus not her at all. I really do feel sorry for Inuyasha and I understand how he still loves her and all but he really should focus on the living, breathing and totally available and adorable Kagome. Lastly those who say Kagome is just a riencarnation of Kikyo are wrong, Kagome may have some of Kikyo’s soul but she was raised differently and so has different expieriences that have forged a different soul from that of Kikyo. Also any way you look at it Inuyasha can’t be with Kikyo because she wants to kill him and you must admit that does put a damper on thier relationship.
P.S I am also a MirokuXSango fan they are such a cute couple and they simply belong together! Miroku just needs to stop womanizing every pretty girl he comes across.
