inuyasha still loves kikyo because that was his first love. kikyo still have feelings for inuyasha so thats why she keeps jumping in the picture interfering with them. so ofcourse its hard for inuyasha to stop thinking of her and go running to her every time he sees her. just leave her lone guys, they cant help that there in love. but inuyasha loves kagome to. he’s just trying to have both of them because he cant let neither of them go. but i personlly think he loves kagome more.

I totally agree with *KAOME PROMISE*, such a mature and analytic answer! It is true that inuyasha should get over kikyo, but she was indeed his first love! And kikyo plays a part after all, because without her, kagome would have died if she hadn’t broken through tsubaki’s barrier and interrupted the spell a few episodes before.

i agree that inuyasha should be with kagome, but it isn’t kikyo’s fault. i mean, she didn’t ASK for inuyasha’s love. He just loves her. and another thing, no matter how much you all argue about the kagome/inuyasha/kikyo triangle, it isn’t going to change it. so just stop arguing and enjoy the show.

God. Kagome’s like “I can sense the sacred jewel” every three lines!!! I know that’s her tallent, but why does she have to keep saying it?
Um … why can’t InuYasha do that thing were he pops the power back at the caster? Like withh that giant worm demon to make the Tetsuaiga lighter? Ah - Backlash Wave. That’s the one. Guess he did it after all.
Yeah, all those people who hate Kikyo - you do realize the show would be alot less complex without her, right?

Without Kikyo the story line would be a snore. I don’t hate her, I feel sorry for her. It wasn’t her idea to get resurrected from the dead. And I don’t think she and Inu Yasha were meant to be together and I think InuYasha realizes that, but even though it’s been 50 years, it only feels like yesterday to Inu that his heart was broken. And you never really get over your first love…so sad. I do think Kagome and Inuyasha are destined to be together–I think she is all the good that was in Kikyo’s spirit(everything Inu yasha fell in love with), and the soul Kikyo now posesses is all the sad and bad things that were in here spirit.

Well I totally think that the the previous message before me is wrong. I think that Kagome and InuYasha should be together. Kagome makes this show fun to watch. I do hate that Kikyo is always in the way and distracting InuYasha but you have to admit without Kikyo’s drama the show wouldnt be that insteresting. She really do spice things up between InuYasha and Kagome. I love this show!!

I don’t understand why everyone hates Kikyo. I mean, come on, Kikyo loves Inuyasha. Kikyo makes me mad sometimes, but serously, it’s not that shes bad. She just can’t let go of Inuyasha, even though they can’t be together anymore because she’s dead. Without Kikyo, there would be no Kagome. But it does bother me when she interferes with Inuyasha and Kagome. Though the fault is Inuyasha’s as well. He should know better than to keep crawling back to her, she’s dead!
Anyways, sorry for ranting. I probably bored everyone to tears. Cool episode though.

Thats not true, kagome really loves inuyasha but kikyo is so stuck up, she says she loves inuyasha then holds a knife up to his face and tries to kill kagome. kikyo and inuyasha were never meant to be. Kikyo is never happy, she is just a lonely priestes. kagome puts the best in InuYasha. Kagome cried for him, He said kikyo died for him but she didn’t die for him at all. I agree with everyone who says Kikyo was Inuyasha’s first love. Just because she is coming between them it doesn’t mean she’s evil, it just means that her and Inu had a really strong and powerful love. She’s a good priestess and a great person, and if you think about it, she made Kagome what she is! Kagome has part most of her soul and also, if Kikyo hadn’t burned the Shikon No Tama with her remains, Kagome never would have ended up in the feudal era and met inu! It must be hard to let go of your first love, but obviously he’s going to be with Kagome! Personally, I like him with Kagome, but only because you never really get to see how he was with Kikyo! I’m sure that if the story had started with him and Kikyo 50 years in the past and then had eventually gotten to Kagomes storyline you’d all be saying “Why can’t Kagome not exist? He was with Kikyo first!” But then again, Inu prob wouldn’t even have looked at Kagome if Kikyo hadn’t died.I’m not saying Kikyo’s better, but I’m just saying she deserved to be happy, and she couldn’t be like a regular woman because she had to protect the sacred jewel. She deserved Inuyasha, and if she didn’t die she would have had him. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be, and I like Kagome too! And her and Inu are great together because it always seems like she is more fun to be around than Kikyo would have been^_^ But I lyk them both and they both love Inu! 1 of them should move on, and I think it should be Kikyo since she’s dead and all….just my opinion!

I agree with jenisse! And also it’s kinda hard to say like Kikyo is selfish and stuff and that she doesn’t care about him. Kagome is from a different time where it is more acceptable to show ur feelings but since Kikyo was from the feudal era AND she was a priestess who devoted all her lyfe to the jewel, it’s different for her. Also all’s fair in love and war…think about it…Kikyo’s already dead, she has nothing to lose but Inuyasha, and so she’ll give up everything she has to get him back. Even if she is dead…But what I don’t get is how Kagome and Kikyo kinda have the same soul but they are SOOO DIFFERENT!!! Shouldn’t they be more similar? And if Inuyasha was once in love with Kikyo who was like always serious and stuff, how is it possible for him to love Kagome too who is so playful and stuff? I lyk them both, and I feel bad for Inu…Imagine having to chose just one of them!! That would be so difficult…I love them both too, but for different reasons and thats what makes it hard for Inuyasha.

i think that kagome is meant for inuyasha and although kikiyo wants to be with inuyasha she should not be so selfish because she wants to take his life just to be with him in hell how rude i think inuyasha should become human and settle down with kagome in the feudal era but inuyasha is willing to die for kikiyo but i think if that witch had not have revived kikiyo then we would not have this problem but it would be hilarious if kagome got so tired of inuyasha and kikiyo making her jealous she went with sesshomaru to make inuyasha jealous haha that would be hilarious!!!

I honestly don’t like Kikyo, i never did even from the get go. she interferes way too much. underdtandably she is Inuyasha’s first love. so there will always be lingering emotins. She just needs to move on. And Kagome needs a new outfitt ahaha i hate how the schoolgirl outfit makes her looks so much younger. but when it comes down to it she is only 15.

I don’t really get most of the people here.
Those who say that Inuyasha should just drop Kikyo like a rock and just go for Kagome, it’s not really that simple. For Inuyasha, the betrayal happened probably a few months ago, Not fifty years. Can anyone here honestly say (without trolling) that if you went through his ordeal, your true love, the only one who gave you even the slightest hint of compassion, was not only tricked into betrayal, but desecrated by the evil who did it, that you would drop it for the first chick you met so soon after it happened? Kagome is great for him, but he needs a bit more time before he can really be with her. He needs to straighten things out first.

I don’t hate Kikyo, but she really irritates me when she interferes with Kagome and Inuyasha. You guys all say that Kikyo loves Inuyasha, well if she loves him so much don’t you think she would want him to be happy?? Evidently he’s happy with Kagome, so she should support his decision. On the other hand the betrayal happened 50 years ago but to Inuyasha it seems like just yesterday, and to see Kikyo brings back bitter sweet memories. Inuyasha need time before he can truly understand that he is indeed in love with Kagome. I agree with ~_leave brit…er…kikyo alone!_~ Im am only 13 years old and yet come to a better understanding of the love triangle than most..
