I disagree Misa-Misa. I think Its painfully obvious that Kagome and Inuyasha have feelings for each other (tho both in denial), but I dont think that Inuyasha has feelings for Kikyo anymore, but feels responsible for her death, so is unable to let her die again.

You know, I think its really wierd that Kikyo is a priestess and even though she knows she died, why is she comfortable to the fact of being in the world of the living, I know it sounds creppy, cuz u could look at it as a second chance to live a life, and a life is something precious, but its wierd that she doesnt undersant that, looking at it kagome is her reencarnation, so she shouldnt hav the excuse of a second opportunity, with a third point of view that a reason why she chooses to live again is to have her revenge..

Oh jesus…Kagome is Kikyo’s reincarnation, so no matter what Inuyasha is going to be in love with her. It’s rather a matter of ‘fate’. I don’t really agree too much on “for kagome it’s her first time meeting him”, for she has Kikyo’s spirit in her. She once said she carries the same feeling as Kikyo (jap. verison - the japanese verison makes their relationship more obvious). Carrying that feeling of love for Inuyasha would automatically cause her to tie her emotions to Inuyasha as if she had known him all along, because she IS Kikyo.

kagome doenst not in anyway look like kikyo . kagome is also way prettier . i dont no why she keeps interfering with inuyasha and kagome . kagome is the one who made inuyasha able to trust others not kikyo.she is a waste of time.

what yall fail to relize is that eventhough kagome is reicarnated from kikyo she is still her own person and eventhough remnats of her past life linger her feelings are her own and not centurys old.

Inuyasha still has lingering feelings for Kikyo; he was pinned to a tree for 50 years and was asleep the whole time, the whole scenario with Kikyo and him seems like a memory that happened not long ago from Inuyasha’s point of view. And just because Kagome is Kikyo’s reincarnation doesn’t mean Inuyasha automatically knows Kagome more than he should, Kagome is her own person despite having Kikyo’s soul, plus Inuyasha and Kagome have only known each other for maybe 2-3 months now really, which isn’t enough time for their feelings to be “love,” but certainly infatuation.

Kikyo had felt so betrayed by Inuyasha that it became part of her soul as with her love for Inuyasha. Though she loves him with her very soul the only part of her soul that remains in Kikyo’s form is that which burns for revenge.
As for the Kagome and Kikyo being the same that is true and false at the same time. While Kagome is influenced by there shared soul Kagome has been raised very differently than Kikyo. Most are very aware of that fact including Inuyasha, Kikyo, and Kagome.
While Kikyo’s love for Inuyasha is undying. Kagome’s upbringing has weakened the souls feelings for Inuyasha. It is my belief that after time Kagome will fall for another.
Inuyasha has an ongoing love for Kikyo and has a hard time telling that Kagome is in fact a different person. So his future indecision is because he tends to judge the by the way they look. Not because they are the same person. Though slowly he will realize that though they may look alike they are different and starts to lean more towards Kikyo. I could continue on Kikyo but that would be a big spoiler for people who haven’t seen this series before.
